    About the Role

Lead the Arizona Crew in the field. You run the daily install, sign the workmanship standard, evaluate the Extron AVoIP practical, and are the named lead each new regional crew (Southwest, West Coast, East Coast) needs before it opens. This is still an installer job: you install, you sign the standard, and you evaluate the people coming up behind you. Not a desk job.

    What You Will Do

    • -Lead the daily install: sequence, safety, drawing control, and first-time-right on Extron AVoIP rooms and the rest of the stack
    • -Serve as evaluator, with the Engineer or COO, for the internal Extron AVoIP practical and the Workmanship Check
    • -Stop work that violates fastener rules, classification rules, or the released drawing; escalate to the PM and Engineer rather than redrawing the job in the field
    • -Coach Tech 1s and Tech 2s and build the evidence a promotion packet needs: rooms, practicals, customer sign-off
    • -Own unclassified photo packets and, on classified sites, the discipline that no photo and no survey leaves the network
    • -Work with the company Engineer, Programmer, and Pre-Sales; you redline, you do not issue design
    • -Choose to lead a new regional crew (location premium) or stay on the Arizona Crew; the employee decides.

    Required Qualifications

    • -U.S. citizenship; Secret active or in process
    • -Proven lead of multi-room or complex federal AV (networked DSP, control, conferencing, program audio)
    • -Able to teach shielded Cat6A, Phoenix-block audio, and Extron AVoIP fault-finding, not only pass them
    • -Clean safety and security record; zero tolerance for photos of classified sites
    • -Owned professional tools; able to run a crew that owns theirs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • -StarDraw redline literacy; Visio or AutoCAD LT as supporting tools
    • -Dante Level 2 and a second platform beyond Extron (Crestron, AMX, Q-SYS, or Biamp/Tesira)
    • -Video Wall badge path
    • -Deployable badge readiness (passport, medical, training current)
    • -Interest in project management down the road.

    How Success Is Measured

Crew quality and first-time-right installs, safe and secure sites, clean workmanship sign-offs, and Tech 1s and Tech 2s who earn promotion on evidence.

    Work Environment

Field leadership on occupied federal sites, including Fort Huachuca and CONUS project sites. Accountable for crew quality when the BU Manager is not on site. Overtime and on-call as lead of the rotation.

    How to Apply

Complete the application below. In the cover note, describe a multi-room or complex federal AV job you led, the crew size, and how you held the workmanship standard. External candidates complete the workmanship and Extron AVoIP practical in the Sierra Vista shop before an offer is final. ATS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
