Our Story
Built to make the complex simple.
The Origin
Action Technology Services began in 2019 in Sierra Vista, Arizona, at the edge of one of the most mission-focused communities in the country. The founders had spent their careers inside the mission - in Army acquisition, in IT and audiovisual program delivery, in the rooms where decisions get made and at the field sites where systems have to work the first time.
They kept running into the same problem. Agencies operating in sensitive, mission-critical environments already had information systems. But those systems were too complex to operate and too hard to connect across the classification levels their work demanded. What these organizations actually needed were systems their people could use - simplified, secure, and integrated with the collaboration technology the mission now required. Few firms could solve that engineering challenge and meet the access requirement at the same time.
ATS was built to close exactly that gap.
The first jobs were single rooms and single sites. A conference room here, a network there. But the company was built on a standard that came straight from its founders' time in uniform and in the acquisition community: seek first to understand what the customer truly needs, then deliver the level of service required to exceed what they expected.
Customers noticed. They came back. They expanded the work. And they did it without sending it back out for competition.
From Single Rooms to the Whole Enterprise
What started as single-room installs grew into enterprise-scale programs. Today ATS designs, installs, and sustains the audiovisual, video teleconferencing, and network infrastructure that federal, defense, and state and local missions depend on - from a full conference modernization across a major VA healthcare system to sustained field dispatch across more than 1,100 government locations, in the U.S. and overseas.
The Company Customers Want to Rehire
The pattern that defines ATS is the one its founders set out to build: customers who do not just accept the work, but ask for more of it. Scope that grows mid-contract. Cleared technical requirements re-awarded without going back to the market. A portfolio with no negative findings. That is what it looks like to be the company customers always want to rehire.
ATS does its best work where there is the least room for error - inside active healthcare facilities, inside access-controlled training environments, inside commands where a system going down is not an option. The people who do that work are veterans and career technologists who bring the discipline of the military and the accountability of a small business to every engagement. They are trusted to operate in environments most firms cannot enter, and they own each project end to end, from design through commissioning.

What We Stand For
Understand first.
The mission comes before the catalog. We ask what has to work before we say what we sell.
Own it end to end.
One accountable partner from design through commissioning. No handoffs. No finger-pointing.
Make it simple.
Complexity is the problem we were built to solve. We take it out. We never add it.
Show up where it's hard.
Active healthcare facilities. Access-controlled environments. Rooms where a system going down is not an option.
